booms Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 Hi there Bought a 2001 Ghia - it's got a casette player as attached. I'd to connect my mp3 player - ideally with a standard 3.5mm male-male cable - but there's no aux/line-in on the stereo. Is there any recommended best way to do this? I could just get one of the cheap casette-things like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-in-Dash-Tape-Audio-Cassette-MP3-Player-Adaptor-3-5mm-Aux-Male-Cable-For-iPod-/270836200925?pt=UK_AudioVideoElectronics_PortableAudio_MP3PlayerCarKits&hash=item3f0f1875dd but I was hoping for something a bit more proper! chromedome Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 You can buy MP3 adapters that transmit using a radio frequency. You then tune the radio to that frequency and voila. I think there are adapters that utilise the CD changer connection but you then forfeit the CD option. Quote
bigdave982 Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 As the man above says u can use an ipod adaptor(if your using ipod) that plugs into cd changer socket. You loose the changer if its fitted but works a treat. It what i use Quote
