hi all.

I’m new galaxy owner, just got myself 2001 2.3 galaxy.

have got one problem I’m struggling to solve, heating controls are not working, can't control heat , directions, can't switch a/c or auxiliary heating on, only fan control works. all heating control panel would not lit up. also clock on dash doesn’t work.

So far I’ve tried:

fuses, all look ok just could you please confirm which one is for heating and it's location. is it only one fuse box under steering wheel?

control unit , I’ve unplugged and plugged it back, and also tried good one from my friends galaxy (ok in his car, would make no difference to mine)

dry joint next to passenger pillar, striped it, looked ok, no corrosion. does anyone know what voltage i should get in this joint?

and what reading i should get in them multi plugs?

and last has anybody got any ides what it could be? what next i should check?

thank you

i had a similar problem ,and a simple fix via the forum was to remove the front of the heater controls then disconnect the two wiring connectors ,turn the ignition on and off and reconnect plugs ,it worked give it a try
