bosebase Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 Looking to upgrade existing lamp to LED version. Any help on how to remove / replace would be great. Thanks in advance. Quote
gregers Posted November 20, 2012 Report Posted November 20, 2012 im sure ive read that they wont work properly as they have a dimming function,i could be wrong but with led isnt it either on or off. Quote
GaryM Posted November 25, 2012 Report Posted November 25, 2012 LEDs will dim simply by lowering the voltage and therefore the current through them however thier dimming curve will not match that of a filament lamp. The best thing is to try. You won't do any damage. You are more likley however to fall foul of the various monitoring currents etc. which may mean that the LEDs do no go fully off. Quote
