Remote Central Locking Problem

Hi there peeps,

 

Im new to the forum but have used this site for the past few months for hints and tips and it has been very helpful. I now need some assistance with my remote central locking. I have a 03 seat alhambra 1.9 tdi auy engine 115 bhp. I cannot seem to get the remote central locking to resync with the vehicle, I have tried the resync procedure as in insert key drivers lock, turn key 3 times unlock position remove key hold lock press unlock 3 times lights on remote flahes 5 times but not on drivers lock. I have recently changed wiring as there were breaks in some wires i have changed locking mechanism i have actually changed everything in the drivers door but still cannot get the remote locking to work any advice on this matter would be very appreciated.
