(Was't sure where to ask question... I thought I;d try here hoping someone will answer)

I want to get a cheap bluetooth car kit - one of the ones you stick on the visor and charge by a USB socket

Has any one used these? Are they any good?

Prices range from £10 - £40+

Are the £10 ones any good?

Thanks

Get a stereo with Bluetooth, sun visor Bluetooth is crap

I have a Ford Galaxy 2001 reg

I've asked about stereos to buy

The cost would be about £150 - involves buying the stereo and different adapters

Not worth it for me

How crap is crap?

Not at all usable?

Agrees with argrdnr my experience of visor jobbies are little better than useless, specialky when they fall off !

I use aparrot kit ,just plugs into the iso wiring loom at back of stereo tho i did have to buy adaptor loom for my mk2

I have a Bluetooth rear view mirror i got off eBay.

It works ok although the mirror is a bit on the dark side but not a real problem.

It just clips over the existing mirror and is recharged inside the house with a mains adapter, seems to last ages on a charge.

Also have a visor Bluetooth kit i bought from Carphone wharehouse in my other car.

It also works ok but stops the sun visor folding up all the way but we live with it.

i was't actually planning on placing on the sun visor! i was planning on putting on the dashboard on one of those sticky mats (though not leaving there permanently on display waiting for a thief)

how much better is the sound than say using loudspeaker?

i'm thinking: maybe i should save myself a lot of hassle and just get a bloetooth earpiece

i can't stand those damn earpieces!!
