Use Existing Aerial For Dab?

I've got the aerial built in to the rear glass, and have just fitted a DAB radio which needs a special aerial for the DAB reception

 

So, can I use the existing aerial if I connect it with a proper adapter/splitter?

 

Edit: it's a Mk1 ... the details used to be in the column on the left!
