On eBay reverse parking sensors are really cheap - £12

Are these any good? How much effort is required to install?
One of the things I was concerned about was drilling through the bumper
Are there any things I should avoid doing?

Thanks

i've checked out a few videos on utube and i can see that u have to drill holes in the bumper
if everyone else is doing, it must be ok

if anyone else has installed, it would be great to hear back
thanks

I installed these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silver-Parking-Reversing-Sensor-Buzzer/dp/B001I1AG18/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1352220781&sr=8-4
On my MK1 Gal. Work nicely even with a tow bar in the middle and the silver matches well. Easy to install with a bit of electronic know how and a good drill. Once you have found the power to the reverse lights it is just a case of plugging all the bits together. Any questions feel free.......

They are installed in the '96 Mk1 GLX I just bought but don't work. They were bought with the car from new.

Whenever you stick it in reverse you get a continuous tone but no beeps  It only has 3 sensors so would this amazon one work if I only connected three of the sensors?
