Weird Issue Here

Sorry for all the posts everyone but I have a weird issue

I changed fuses 4&6 so the rear heater works. Upon doing this hooray the rear heater works but for some WEIRD reason when I turn the ignition on the boot opens :s

Explain please

yeah sounds like youve got wiring problems,check all gaiters in ALL doors including the rear hatch.

I found the issue, the tailgate wires are all fraud and "snapped" only issue is there is no slack to repair them, if I remove the boot surround cards will this give me room to play with. Or if I replace it, is it an easy fix?

Read the FAQ's there are threads on repairing the wiring. You need to get more wire and join either side so the joint isn't in the gaiter.

Get a section from scrap yard, the bit that's on the inside down the rear piller, then the colors coding is the same, easy .com
