Resetting Service Indicator

I have a 2001 1.9tdi ghia does anyone know how to reset the service indicator? I recently had a service but not from a ford dealer and they did not reset the service indicator warning. Any help would be appreciated.

Hold in the odometer reset button and switch on the ignition.

More specifically, hold in the odometer reset button, switch on the ignition and continue holding until the display resets - usually 5 - 10 seconds.

i have been told the trip computer reset button so i have been using the one on the stalk not on the odometer i shall try tonight!
