gregers Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 well done a bit of a search for you,as the mk3 info is a bit patchy.so this info is for the smax(pretty much the same)and it could well be the abs module or (the alarm box(found under the wheel arch)apparently the box has some kind of battery in it?? Tonka33 Posted August 29, 2012 Author Report Posted August 29, 2012 Thanks for taking the time to respond! I followed your instruction on the abs module/alram seems to be there just as you said under the passenger side wheel arch. I disconnected this and the error message still remais on the dash. Oh well back to the drawing board. Quote
gregers Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 im tempted to say disconect your main battery and the abs module as apparently this has a battery in it aswell?making sure you have all/any codes for radio etc. just to see if it resets itself. Quote
Tonka33 Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Posted September 1, 2012 Thanks m8 just disconected everything like you said re-connected and all is running the abs module location is behind the battery. So i would like to confirm this works! Quote
