snappy Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Hi folks. I’m still doing battle with my cruise control. I took the nearside lamp unit out of the car. I did find a perished pipe. I checked for water in the pump thingy there inside the wing. That was all fine. I'm now wondering where I go now with this job and what the next step should be. Do I cough up and get a fault code test done at Fords' or are there other things I can check here at home? Any help on this would be very much appreciated Quote

snappy Posted August 14, 2012 Author Report Posted August 14, 2012 hmm interesting. Thanks for that. I'm gonna have that light out again I think for a closer look at the vac pump. I'll put it on my kitchen table and rip it to bits. Moving parts could well have sized up due to condensationand due to the pipe being so rotten. here we go again ... such fun ... I'd rather tinker with me microlight Quote
