Hi,

 

I just purchased a W registered Ford Galaxy 2.3 Ghia after returning my leased Nissan Qashqai +2.

 

I wanted a bigger car and the Galaxy certainly is that. I realise that the Galaxy is going to be a lot thirstier than my diesel Qashqai but I just wanted a cheap Galaxy to see if I liked them before investing in a more expensive model.

 

One thing I'm disappointed with though is the lack of cabin storage space. The glove box is tiny compared to the Qashqai and I haven't found any nooks and crannies where I can stash my stuff yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

I joined this club after searching for solutions to why the cruise control isn't working and intend to look at the vacuum pipe over the weekend.

 

The aircon also isn't working, well it works but no cold air is coming out. I hope it just needs re-gassing and have booked into ATS to get this done tomorrow.

 

Anyway, enough about me and my problems. Looking forward to contributing and reading the posts in the forum over the coming months.

you do have a limited ammount of space under the front seats.

im assuming yours is a mk1 galaxy?

the mk2 had a small flap on top of the dash to hold a few things.but not much.

I've got a few odds and ends (fire extinguisher, wheel brace, wd, etc etc in the rear wheel arches, but I miss the small extra storage my old mk 1 had in the space where my cd changer lives now.
