Steering Wheel - What Else Fits?

Hi I know I'm not alone in having a MK2 Galaxy with a steering wheel on which the surface is falling apart, I have seen MK3 Mondeo wheels listed for the Galaxy as well on fleabay but this sounds too easy (and cheap!) does anyone konw if the Mondeo wheels fit?

I'm wondering the exact same thing...

I have a mondeo for sale and could try it, but I don't know how to get the wheel off (without breaking something or having an airbag blowing up in my face :P)

By the looks of it, it seems that my galaxy steeringwheel has a bit more of an slope in it
