KerryCW Posted July 5, 2012 Author Report Posted July 5, 2012 Oops lol I meant limp not lump :) Quote
stuandshell316 Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 i have a 2.0 galaxy which is doing the same i recently took it into my main dealer where i got it from and they said that with it going into limp mode means that the turbo is getting clogged up with soot. so they took it out and drove the car at 4000 rpm doing 60 or 70 come back and it was great like a new car. but recently my engine management light is on and of like a yoyo i was sat idle yesterday for like ten mins got two secs down the rd and went into limp mode. am very disappointed with the car doing this as im beginning to wish i never bought the car. was thinking of maybe contacting ford themselves as its only 3 yrs old. seatkid Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 (edited) p122 p123 refer to throttle position sensor outputsp014 I think just means intermittent fault. So it looks like a dicky throttle sensor (the one on the accelerator pedal) Edited July 5, 2012 by seatkid Quote
