Cant Find Parts From Ford Part Numbers? Please Help.

Hello everyone. In my previous post i stated that the stealers said i needed a air con pipe and intercooler. Which I'm getting a second opinion on at the moment. But i need to get some cheap parts forced asap just in case i do need them. So i phoned and asked for the part numbers to get the correct parts. But after looking i can't find what I need. The intercooler number comes up with a few hits but not much, and the air con parts a non starter. If someone could give me a different part number for them or a cheap source that would great thank you.

The part numbers are, air con pipe 1110490 and intercooler 1109138

How about this -> intercooler ebay lsitings appear to believe they are common to MKI and MKII's

 

If you add your model and engine to your signature then people will know which MK and engine you are talking about as there can be major differences.

 

If you describe the pipe that needs replacing, or post a photo then there is more chance of getting a response. You could just search for "galaxy air con" on ebay if you know which pipe it is and look at the images then you may find something that way. That's all I did for theintercooler. I would suggest that for the air-con you try and find a reputable mobile specialist, that's what I have resorted to as they can sometimes repair rather than replace pipes, which can work out cheaper too.

I would agree with SB about using a decent aircon specialist, there's a good chance that any damaged pipes can be repaired or re-made.

 

You are unlikely to find new replacement aircon pipes other than genuine Ford or VW parts, and there have been occasions when even the main dealer has had difficulty obtaining some of the obsolete pipes.
