Hi, i have a ford galaxy 115 tdi 2001. the car suddenly stopped working whilst driving down the motorway last year. it got towed to a garage, iwas told it was the fuel pump, so i had it replaced, it still did not work - took it somewhere else and they said it was the fuse. they changed the fuse and everything was fine. it worked for a couple of months and the same thing happened, so i changed the fuse it still swouldnt work, tryed it again the next day and it started no problems. I;ve found then when it does conk out the fuel gage and speedometer goes off first, the car gats sluggish then the diesel light comes on and it conks out. If i replace it with a 30 amp fuse it starts straight away, i let it run for a few minutes then replace it with the 10amp fuse and go about my merry journey.

Does anyone have any idea why it keeps blowing, i wasnt sure if the 10 amp fuse was the right one? the wires have all been checked and cant see anything wrong with them. various mechanics have looked at it , they all say its been fixed but it never has.
