Central Locking/ Parking Sensor/ Interior Light.

Hi All,

 

First time on site could do with some help.

 

Recently bought 2001 Galaxy 2.8 V6 but it has developed some faults.

 

1. Parking sensors don't work although you can hear them all ticking.

2. Interior lights have packed up.

3. Central locking only works with key in the door not remotely. The immobiliser light on drivers door doesn't work (car has been off the road for a bit & in the handbook it says the light switches off if the car has been parked for 28 days, mine was).

 

I've looked on the web etc., and the information is difficult to decipher. I've read it could all be related to the control unit under the passenger seat?

also check for broken wires in the door gaitors,check bulbs and check door light switches.
