Rear Door Stuck

The problem is that driver's side rear door is stuck. It won't open inside or outside and inside the handle is loose.

 

From outside I managed to open the door by taking the handle off and moving that thing inside the door with finger. Now it doesn't help either.

 

So the door is stuck and I can't even take the door card off because I can't open the door at all. Do you have any suggestions what to do?

 

Model is 2.3 Galaxy 2001.

Errm...... how does he do that if he cant open the door? :rolleyes:

 

 

I think you should still be able to remove the door card with the door shut - as the door seals sit on the metal around the card.

 

IIRC remove the door handle and trim around locking lever first, then (it'll be a bit of a squeeze) starting at the bottom put your fingers under the card and tug sharply towards you to unpop the plastic lugs. then work your way around unpopping all the lugs until you can swing the card up, then lift out of the window channel.

he can check all the others cant he ;) just in case it is the others causing the problems??????:rolleyes:

after re reading it again follow seat kids advice, :lol: missed the bit where he says opening it from the outside now doesnt work :)

Door won't open at all. It's mechanical so I don't think it has something to do with wiring etc.

 

I'll try to take the door card out again.
