Guest piperdog Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 hello, with the air con on auto the display shows fans to the front and none to the rear(not blowing to rear either ),but i can make the rear fans work on manual and they show on the display, is there a rear sensor or any thing i missing ..thanksits a 2001 , ghia model Quote
Guest nimrod Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 Unless you have dual aircon? the aircons not linked into the rear heater unit, so when the aircon is switched to auto or econ it wont control the rear fan but you will have manual control of it Quote
Guest piperdog Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 yes it has the duel digital display Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 All vehicles with the climate control system have the dual display, but to get the rear system to work separately, you need the dual aircon with additional vents in the roof for rear passengers. Unless you have them, the rear unit is just a heater so will not provide cool air over and above the fascia vents. Hence with the normal "single" aircon/climate control, the control system does not operate the rear fan unless it is to assist in heating the interior. Quote
Guest piperdog Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 thanks ,so in reality eventhough the rear does have a temp control via the front digital control ,its pretty much crap unless its winter and us infront can get the required temp in summer, whilst the rear suffer. well at least i have no air con problem then Quote
