Just wanting to say hello, joined today as the electric winding mechanism on my Galaxy has broken on the drivers door when the window was in the open position. I've managed to get the glass back up but it keeps droppong down slightly as I drive along.

welcome to the forum,

your going to have to take the door card off and see if 1 of the window clamps has come undone and dropped down within the door.

also i expect the cable has overun within the motor assembley,if this is the case then its either a visit to a scrappy or buy a repair kit from ebay.
