Hi folks!

I have a 2.3 zetec 2000 galaxy. The air con has gone again!! About a year ago the system was making heavy breathing noises every time I turned it on then it stopped working all together. Took it into Ford who fixed it. however it then made loud clicks each time the temperature relay cut in and out. Now it has stopped working again. The A/C light comes on but no cold air coming through. I have checked all the fuses under the steering wheel and they are OK. so where is the relay for the air con situated?

IIRC there is a relay for the aircon system in the aux fuse and relay box in the engine bay

OK I'm not all that technically minded so need a little more advice re position of air con relay. Where specifically will I find the relay in the engine bay. Is it near the battery under the plastic cover or is it situated near the air intake?

thanks

i think that you will need to go to an aircon specialist to check it out it could be a low presure problem ie the gas has all gone or it could be a compresor fault in both cases you would need there skills so best bite the bullet and ask for a quote first good luck
