To Bar Electrics

Hi,

Apologies if this is already in another post but I couldn't see it. I've just bought a trailer and fitted the tow bar to my 07 Galaxy Ghia. Apart from getting the bumper off it was a fairly straight forward exercise. Now comes the more tricky bit... How on earth (excuse the pun) do you connect the 7 pin electrics? I have bought a relay switch as I understand there can be issues without it but that's about as far as I have got. I noticed that TowSure sell a ford wiring kit (http://www.towsure.com/product/Wiring_Kit_Ford_Galaxy_0700). This seems to have a plug with it so could make life very easy indeed. Does anyone know if this can simply be plugged into the car somewhere without any additional wiring?

afaik the mk3 has to be programed with ford's ids system.

i know on my smax the towbar fitter had this sort of setup and said he had to do this.
