hi can anyone help i seem to have a problem with the rear brake on the os

what happens is that after a few miles the disc gets realy hot and smelling,

when i checked it out when cold all releases and wheel is free have, changed

caliper and pads

If you've changed the caliper (which is often the culprit due to internal corrosion of the parking brake mechanism) then next change the short cable going going the caliper, these cables corrode internally causing them to seize.

i will try that I have also found the spring on the end of the cable that comes from the lever is broken would this do it?

also should I check that the cables are adjusted correctly?
