Phil Jones Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 I have a 2010 Galaxy with two remote keys. One of the keys is working perfectly however the other seems to have developed a fault. If the car is locked, then only the fully functional key will work. However, if I un-lock the car with the working key I can then happily lock and unlock with the 'faulty' key. If I then leave it for about 5 minutes, the faulty key will no longer work. I have replaced the battery but the problem continues. The keys were re-programed by a Ford main dealer to try to sort the fault but still no luck. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks. Quote
jgeeman Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 Hi Phil,I'm afraid I can't give you a solution but I'm hoping you get the answer as I have the exact same problem. I have re-programedboth keys and am at a loss as to what else I can try! :) Quote
