bj2004 Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 Has a cable to a sensor broken ? Quote
Bioman1966 Posted February 18, 2012 Author Report Posted February 18, 2012 I have a faulty side light bulb on the drivers side, sometimes if i bang the light it comes on. Don't know if this could be related, also i remember it coming on just after i had to brake hard awhile ago when some Muppet pulled out on me. I thought the Handbrake and Brake fluid where a seperate sensor? Cheers Bioman1966 Quote
bj2004 Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 (edited) if the sensor cable on the brake pad has been routed tightly it can snap as pad wears down happened to me once would fit in with the hard breaking Edited February 18, 2012 by bj2004 Quote
NikpV Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 checked the brakes and they seem o.k. what did you check? pad thickness? connectors can come undone/corrode IIRC we are talking front nearside and rear offside. Separate the plug/socket and short out wth a bent wire (socket) to find which one Quote
