Hi everyone

just joined the forum and thought i would say hello.

 

my name is Alan,,46 years old

i live in central Scotland with my girlfriend of 19 years

we dont own a galaxy/sharan/alhambra atm but we are looking to get one shortly (3-6 months)

 

currently driving a citroen c1 but we are needing/wanting something a bit bigger and comfier

and when i noticed the 1.9 tdi can get around the mid to high 40`s mpg our mind was made up..

 

hope to pick up a few tips of what to look out for when buying one of these cars..

hi and welcome to the forum,

you could probably park your c1 in the boot of a galaxy,:rolleyes:

 

m8 has 1,he reckons he only needs to fill once every 2 months ;)

A tank of petrol in the c1 (35 liter tank) gets me about 450/480 miles

so it gets filled about every 5/6 weeks

but reading about the 1.9 tdi its not that far behind the c1 mpg wise

and miles infront of the c1 in the comfort and room stakes.
