DaveJH Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 My MK II Galaxy was serviced at the end of last week, and today I noticed that the information display (that previously showed 'service due' and usually shows average mpg or average speed etc) was totally blank. I guess that in trying to reset the service interval indicator the guy disabled something. I shall get on to the service manager in the morning, but advice as to whether the information system and display can be restored or restarted easily would be of help in discussions with the garage. bigdave982 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 messed mine up today! the only thig i had touched was the aux heater temp sensor on the wiper linkagetook scutle panel off agian ,gave the plug a wiggle and display was back on Quote
DaveJH Posted February 13, 2012 Author Report Posted February 13, 2012 The info display problem resolved itself this morning - at the start of the drive back to the garage the display kicked back into life. The only real difference was that for the first time in days I had not had a cold weather start (when really cold the 1.9 TDI 150 bhp engine seemed to start on one cylinder before kicking the others into life) and I didnt have front and rear screens and headlights on at the start of the drive. Thanks for comments etc DaveJH Quote
