Push the stalk away from you as you do to operate the rear wash/wipe quickly and and release it and it should stop! it takes practice :D but you should be able to manage it aftera few weeks practise! B)

Mines a MK1, so I have to switch on the intermittant wipe, let it wipe once, turn it off and switch it back on at the set time I want, then it should stay at the timed interval I have I just set

doesnt the MK2 have a switch on top of the wiper control stalk to adjust the wiper delay?

Yes but I wondred if you could adjust the settings B) :D
