Having little help from my Ford dealership and am running out of patience, options and cash. :D

Could someone please tell me:-

When you switch the CC on, do the radiator fans come on?

I thought the fans were supposed to:

Without CC on:-

Come on at half speed when water temp reaches 96 degrees

Come on at full speed when water temp reaches 102 degrees

With CC on:-

Come on at half speed at all times

Come on at full speed when required

My fans come on for thirty second bursts every so often (irrespective of water temp) when the CC is on - but I suspect that the fan control unit may be at fault - which is why the display flashes.

The dealer have regassed the system, and reset the display, but as soon as the ignition is swicthed on again, display flashes. They say that this is probably because the head unit is at fault. Surely it is describing something else?

System is now blowing cold air, but how long for? B)

have they read the fault codes? the CC system logs all its faults so they should be able to get an idea of what the problem is from them

They told me that it needed re-gassing and reset the fault codes - I don't think they bothered reading them - just reset. The display still flashes though so I have sent a stroppy letter e-mail to Sandicliffe asking that they do what I asked - read the codes and identify the problem.

The very thought of a Ford dealership with someone who can read or with an idea..........
