Improved Polish Intermediate Driveshaft Set

Disaster has struck - Pulled away from a roundabout in my 2002 1.9TDi and BANG then a horrible grinding noise. As an regular reader on this site, I was left with no doubt what had happened - the drive shaft splines had gone.

In my search for a new shaft & gearbox output flange I went through the web and phoned all my local motor factors all gave the same answer ;its a main dealer part.

There are a few threads on those driveshafts on this forum.

 

I fitted one about 3 weeks ago and it has made a massive difference to my clonky pickup and gear change! When fitting, don't use all the grease or you won't get the shaft in as it will hydraulic lock.

 

Lastly, it's not a remanufactured part, it's new but redesigned for longer spline length.

I had this problem some time ago (about 6months)

I used the Polish firm and I can't praise them enough.

I ordered Monday, the part was dispatched Tuesday and I received it Thursday.

The parts were well engineered and fitted perfectly.

Because there are a number of different types depending on vehicle, I spoke to them on the phone surprisingly they spoke English and as I didn't Speak Polish it was a great help. Because of the number of different parts, I sent them JPegs of my old parts to make sure I got the correct version.
