acecard Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Just as a matter of interest more than anything else - it just occurred to me while changing an indicator bulb that ever since i have owned cars and thats more years than I care to admit, as far as I recall, stop and indicator bulbs have always been 21 watt. Why 21 watt? Most household bulbs are in multiples of 10 sometimes 5 but 21W seems such an arbitrary standard. Can anyone enlighten me?Ta Edited November 21, 2011 by acecard Quote
turk90210 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Thats a very good question, a similar thing I noticed was I was looking for a 40 watt halogen bulb for a office lamp, found the usual 25watt ect but could only find 42 watt bulbs for the lamp NO 40 watts ? Quote
