Guest j_mchattie Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Another request for advice, if you would please! I have a Mondeo Mk1, and im after installing a Shock Sensor to go with the standard alarm system currently fitted. Is this an option? Or is there a DIY fit Shock Sensor that can be fitted which arms when the lock is turned in the usual way? I dont want to carry remotes around, it has to run off the old alarm. Ive heard Two stage Shock Sensors are the best for a deterrant. Thanks James Quote
ALARM MAN Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 sorry but me thinks no Ford alarms are so basicNo interior sensorsand dual stage will only go with an alarm that has that featureMy advice unplug factory alarm and fit a decent one Regards Ian Quote
Guest j_mchattie Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 The standard ford alarm has Perimeter protection, and ultrasonics in the door pillars. It also works as an immobiliser. Quote
