Indicator Light In Instrument Panel

Hi

 

Got a Galaxy 03 zetec

 

The instrument panel green indicator light is very dim on one side, some times seen it bright then dim again.

 

I know now through the forum how to take the cluster out. Before I do is it a light bulb, can it fall out

 

and give this appearence or is it an led? Am I wasting my time trying to fix this if its not a normal bulb.
