Complete Loss Of Power

hi,

iv got a ford galaxy 1.9 tdi automatic diesel and its lost all its power.

 

a few months ago the turbo stopped working and i was told to reset the maff sensor to default the settings. it seemed to do the trick, but had its moments of being slow and slugish.

i ran out of diesel in it last week, i was given a gallon of diesel to get me home, i was told it had a few drops of water in it but it would still run ok without doing damage. i nursed it home, but it didnt have much speed and the revs were there one minute and flat the next. if it switched it off and restarted it, it seemed to have power again, not that it lasted long.

i thought it was just the water and filled it to 3/4tank of clean diesel, it seemed to run better but kept losing the revs, id have to rev it for 5 minutes at side of road before they picked up again, but with my foot flat to the floor the revs were still no higher than 2000rpm.

 

i was then told it was coolant mixed with the diesel not water, but i thought it would be diluted enough to as i had 3/4tank clean diesel and only 1 gallon of the contaminated stuff.

 

after no improvement i drained the tank, cleaned the filter, blew the pipes out incase of a blockage, cleaned the fuel pump and fuel strainer etc, iv replaced the diesel with fresh, even added some redex to try clear the system. fuel pressure seems normal, flows forward and back as it should.

 

but, now, it stays at 2000 revs for a couple of minutes then drops to 1200, and struggles to do more than 20mph.

 

iv reset the throttle sensor, it didnt make a difference.

 

all the fuel system is clean as far as i can tell, iv cleaned it all and replaced diesel a few times, reseting the throttle and maff sensors dont do anyhting. i dont know what else it could be, and dont know how to get the power back, please, chuck suggestions my way, il try everything, i just dont know where to look for the problem.
