Hi

Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the central locking module found under the passenger seat (The one that controls central locking and two button IR remote, no alarm)

I have recently replaced the module but the connectors that plug into it have suffered water damage as well. This has led to a few of the crimps corroding and the wires falling off.

I have reworked the connectors as much as I can but am left with a wire that is brown with a blue stripe, and a wire that is brown with a yellow stripe. When I fit them into the cavities of the connector where I believe they originate (the larger signal connector, not the power one on the side) I get the following fault: whenever i close the drivers door after getting out, all the windows wind down.

I have capped these wires off for the moment and the central locking works, you can also still open and close the windows on the drivers door key. However I can't get the car into key programming mode (turn key clockwise three times in the drivers door lock etc). I have managed this in the past before the module got damaged so I know the sequence.

I think these wires must be something to do with the keyfob remote.

If anyone has a wiring diag It would be a great help-

Jim

if its the 11 pin plug then the brown/blue wire goes in the hole opposite the black/red, the brown wire goes opposite the red/white wire

if it is the 11 pin plug the middle row of connectors are empty and the two cables you have spare go in the outer two holes at each end

Hi nimrod

Its the larger connector in the middle of the module. There are three connectors on the module, the first (leftmost) is blank and presumably only used on modules that have alarm functionality. The second (middle) is a GNH long 2 row connector which is the one I'm having problems with, with very small crimps in. The third (rightmost) connector is a higher current Tyco JPT type which is fine.

Its the colour coding for the middle connector I really need.

Ignore my earlier post!

large twin level plug 28 way? if so....... brown/yellow is pin 22 above pin 8 green wire, brown/blue is pin 19 above pin 5 which is empty

when you look at the plug pin 1 is red/white and pin 2 is empty above pin 1 is pin 15 which is empty as is pin 16 pin, 17 is brown/white pin 28 is brown, that should help you orientate the plug the correct way?

Thanks Nimrod I'll try that.

Unfortunately the leak has come back so I need to rectify that first before fixing the module
