martyyne Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Hi Just bought a 03 Galaxy, found the rear wash wipe washer not working,on reading the forum and linking it to the parking sensor failure, I foundthe uncoupled pipe and a pool of water and a wet parking module. I will repair the washer link! If I buy a new module does it have to be syncronised to the car, I initially thoughtit was a one in one out item. By syncronised i mean does some computer have to be pluged in toallow this part to recognise a new module. Also is a VW sharan unit identical to mine for the same age, some people have said thevw version is cheaper from new! Your thoughts please Regards Martyn Quote
gregers Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 have you taken the unit apart?is it full of water?iirc if its not to fubared?then a good clean out MAY resurect it,im sure someone on here was lucky enough to do this. Quote

Can faulty sensors cause this.could the module be ok but a sensor is duff? thanksmart Quote
