Electrical Hell Pls Help

Hi there i am a new galaxy owner have suddenly developed a eletrical fault i am thinking it could be alternator? I have purchased this vehicle with fault and have noticed there is no batt light on dash boardcluster its fine on long run butshort trips or overnight its flat has anyone ideas am i right the to be looking down alternator route?

Hi Darren

 

HAve you got a multimeter ?

 

If so measure the voltage of the battery first while the engine is stopped and then when the engine is running and report back
