Nuc Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 Hi, I am also hesitating about this electronic version of the manual:http://www.rapidmanuals.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=galaxy&category_id=49&product_id=333 This Mechanic Workshop Manual is the one used by all worldwide dealers. It's on the very same lines as the 'Haynes Manual's' information but is electronic format and is even more extraordinarily specific with detail and covers every part of the car with great diagrams. Simple choose your exact model and it shows split diagrams of how parts go together and come apart. It is very user friendly with a step by step guide on finding your cars problem. This identifies every problem which could be wrong from complicated engine problems to seat belts. Explanation's of all parts with details of what they do with actual photos as well. This is a great resource for understanding your vehicle better, or an aid in replacing simple things like brakes or even fuses to the difficult like engine parts, wiring loom etc. In fact it makes all tasks simple and straight forward, sort of a 'Mechanic for Dummies' resource. COVERS ALL MODELS OF ALL YEARS, PETROL & DIESEL THIS SYSTEM IS THE MOST RECENT AND UP TO DATE Here are just some of the features that the system includes:Self Generating Labour TimesPASS Editing Workshop SystemRepair Operation List / PASSDamage Number ListTechnical SolutionsMaintenance TablesCurrent Flow DiagramsEmission TestsWorkshop ManualsBody RepairVehicle-inspection InstructionsMaintenance ManualsWiring DiagramsTransmissionsSteeringBrakes & SuspensionExhaust MaintenanceHELP sections Contains everything possible to fix and maintain your vehicle. From basic services to full engine rebuilds. Absolutely everything! This is a must have for all car owners. Any experience with this? Quote

bigdave982 Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 Hi all ,out of interrest i googled rapid manuals.......... would suggest any potential customers do the same Quote
dbc Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 Haynes don't do one. They did for MK1 but which covers some of the Mk2 stuff but not all. You can get the Ford TIS - Technical Infomation System CD Rom off Ebay which covere everything. I personally find it difficult to follow and find info I'm looking for, expecially around electrical stuff but its all in there. Normally just a few pounds so worth getting one. I don't think there are any other offerings Quote
