davewill Posted September 12, 2011 Report Posted September 12, 2011 Experienced my first puncture last Friday on my Mklll Gal Coming off a motorway slip road i felt as if i ran over something on the road, and lo and behold about 2 miles later felt the front offside tyre "pop" Managed to pull over quickly and started the process of trying to blow it back up with the compressor and "gunk" sealant. No joy, for as quickly as the gunk was being pumped in, it was happily coming out of the hole in the middle of the tyre Rang for recovery and the RAC attended. Chap bodged a wedge of rubber in the hole, and used more sealant, then blew tyre upGood news was it held, and i was able to get homeThe only good news is that the tyres are the originals from new, and have done around 19,000 miles, so i was looking to change the fronts soon anyway Rang round 4 or 5 tyre places in my area, as i needed tyres fitted first thing saturday. Was quoted anything from Quote

buford_t_justice Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 First impressions are that they drive fine, little road noise, and good grip, so well pleased really. I have seen review saying Sunny tyres are rubbish but they seem OK to me Those reviews are right they are rubbish. They're not called Chinese ditch finders for nothing !! Quote
sparky Paul Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Those Chinese tyres are reasonable on dry roads, but lethal in the wet. Take care. Quote
