Mirez Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Write to both motability and the dealer involved. This seems to be quite commonplace for a lot of garages as soon as they know the car is fleet/leased, I has quite a shouting match with my VW dealer when they did my last Golf's first service as I apparently needed new brake pads all around and wipers at 15K miles - when asked to produce the old pads they "could only find the fronts" and they were probably only half worn or so... Dick Dastardly Posted September 28, 2011 Author Report Posted September 28, 2011 Just returned to this post as I'd calmed down and put it out of my mind when the wife says that since the cars been serviced there is a "rear stop light warning". the "NEW" Quote
seatkid Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 This is one reason my son decided against a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso. Seems 95% of them are motability cars - and this seems to reflect in the service charges at the dealers - almost twice as expensive as a VW dealer. Quote
Dick Dastardly Posted September 14, 2012 Author Report Posted September 14, 2012 Right I'm off again..............same subject, same ####y dealership I should have learned my lesson car back from 60000 mile sevice, windscreen wiper hanging off, car badly cleaned, screen wash bottle complaining of being empty and so on My quick question is "if the oil is changed..................how long till the oil goes black and looks used. I ask as they claim the oil has been changed, but on checking the level the oil on the dipstick is very dark and dirty looking. I'm tempted to confront the dealers but I could do with really knowing if the oil's been changed. Quote
