Access To Level 3 Relays?

Hi,

How do I get down to the level 3 fuses and relays (-98 2.3 Galxy)? Seems the level 1 has a hinge mechanism. Do I need to undo all the connectors etc.?

 

Looking for the (in)famous relay 30 ...

Strange - I was doing that yesterday.

I removed the fusebox door, the panel under the fusebox and the lower dash section below steering wheel. This is held on by a plastic plug by the door seal, four screws in the fusebox, and one behind the back edge of central console (needs a screw under the upper console removing first).

When this lot is off, you can remove a single screw way up underneath the dashboard which secures the top of the fuse assembly to the dashboard.

 

Then you can unclip the clips either side of the fuse box, and release it from the brackets. You can then unclip the housing to get at level two, and more clips to get to level 3.

 

If there is an easier way, I will stand corrected, but I couldn't find it yesterday!!

No connections need undoing.
