Mirez Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 hi ive had air in fuel lines for ages now just wondered if it will cause the mpg to be less? Define air! Small bubbles are nothing to worry about - vast quantities will reduce the amount of fuel being pumped (and other things) and yes, that will cause a reduction in MPG but you would also notice poor drive-ability and possible misfire like symptoms.
