Modus_Galaxus Posted August 17, 2011 Report Posted August 17, 2011 I have found a sensor in the engine bay, that simply does not look asthough it is fitted in the correct place. It looks like the garage who last did work on the car( radiator replacement), took it off of somewhere, then did not put it back in the correct place.I am trying to identify the sensors function and where it should be fitted. The car is a Ford Galaxy 1998 2.3 Petrol. I have a photo of the sensor, if you have the same model Galaxy, then perhpas you can help me find where it should be sited. The sensor is electrically connected, to two cables that coem from the same loom as the cables that run to the underbonnet Cooling fan relay. Is it the cooling fan relay sensor ?Or possibly an ambient temperature sensor ( the car has no display of ambient temp). Help Please ! Quote
