Hi All,

Does anyone know how to get a factory fitted MB8000 Visteon DVD sound to play through the 600SE audio speakers? Or is it headphones only via the jacks....?

Many thanks..

Surely someone knows how to do this? The factory fitted DVD isn't for earphones only...?

Yes it is, there is no link between the headunit and the RSE system other then a simple 12V signal for on/off override. If you want sound out through the speakers then you need to see what type of input the 600(0?) has available. From memory I'm not aware of an AUX in on it so that'll be the first stumbling block. The simplist alternative would be to look for an FM modulator and use that instead.

This might be an old post but I've got the Connect2 aux in lead that plugs into the 6000s changer connector and then routed the 3.5mm lead to the back to the headphones socket so that the audio plays out oif the car's spaekers.

I just fade it off the fronts so that the kids in the back can listen to Toy Story over and over and over and over and over and over and  ...

Works well.
