Hopefully someone will be along with the info you require.

In the mean time look at this - maybe that will help

I've sussed it!!

I;ve (tried !) to attach a couple of photo's to help future posters. A general overview plus a couple of close ups to show how the cables attach to the plastic runners.

It all looks very straightforward now, however this took me a few hours to sort out.

Hopefully the pics all come out OK. Please guide me otherwise

Which wheel are people talking about? A photo of your handiwork might help us help....

I've not done a Shalaxy regulator, but done a couple of fabias. Its usually a case of the plastic sliders need to be the right way round and of course the right cable in the right position.

THis may help

Good one seatkid, must admit when my drivers door one snapped I bought complete assembly from scrapyard for £25, next time I'll give it a go lol

it also depends on how many turns the cable is wrapped round the plastic spool, this is where you need 3 hands.
