Baglanbaggy Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Hi All My first post ! I'm struggling to re-install a new cable to the drivers side window regulator Mk (02) Galaxy. I've purchased a new kit ( Quote
seatkid Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 Hopefully someone will be along with the info you require. In the mean time look at this - maybe that will help Quote
Baglanbaggy Posted June 12, 2011 Author Report Posted June 12, 2011 I've sussed it!! I;ve (tried !) to attach a couple of photo's to help future posters. A general overview plus a couple of close ups to show how the cables attach to the plastic runners. It all looks very straightforward now, however this took me a few hours to sort out. Hopefully the pics all come out OK. Please guide me otherwise Cheers Danny Quote
seatkid Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Well done. I'm sure the pics will provided others with useful info. Thnx Quote

seatkid Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) Which wheel are people talking about? A photo of your handiwork might help us help.... I've not done a Shalaxy regulator, but done a couple of fabias. Its usually a case of the plastic sliders need to be the right way round and of course the right cable in the right position. THis may help Edited September 26, 2013 by seatkid Quote
viperclive Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Good one seatkid, must admit when my drivers door one snapped I bought complete assembly from scrapyard for £25, next time I'll give it a go lol Quote
gregers Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 it also depends on how many turns the cable is wrapped round the plastic spool, this is where you need 3 hands. Quote
