Hi I have read the (brilliant) pdfs and set out to replace my door wires which have all cracked and / or brocken. Unfortunately one of the wires has broken off right at the connector. The pin it should be attached to is loose but I can't get it out and don't want to break it - advice please

hi if you cant repair it the only option is to replace it. get one off of another car including the loom or at least a good part of it so that you can join all the wires....

i would try a bit harder first though to repair the one you have, if you break it you break it, it can always be replaced

Thanks I'll see if I can find a breakers in Biringham and have that "spare" just in case - with a good length of wire I could then make the splices in the door compartment which gets them away from all the flexing
