Wiper Mechanism Re-greased But Still Not Full Travel.

Hi, I noticed that the drivers side wiper was not longer wiping up to the pillar. Over successive days was getting shorter and shorter, speed seemed normal though. As described elsewhere on this forum removed mechanism and re-greased. Drivers side spindle was very stiff. Now all moves freely and re-fitted to car. However travel is exactly the same as before!! Parked position is normal with both blades flat.

 

Any other ideas anyone?

check the arm that comes from the wiper motor and attaches to the spindle, could it be bent due to the sezed spindle ?? would need bending flat again ?
