si.miller Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Had problems with gear linkage today 1st 3 and 5th selected ok but I had no 2nd 4th and reverse, I looked on here for some tips and looked at the gear stick end not sure if that was working right lol it was moving but it didnt feel right! and then started to dismantle battery cover and other stuff to see what was happening from above, initially the selector on the top of the gear box was not moving but you could see the linkage moving slightly, the lower one didnt appear to move anything but the linkage itself definatly moved further than the top one.I tried adjusting the linkage and really dont think I actually adjusted anytheng BUT the gears have come back now 2nd is hit and miss as to if it will go in going down the gears which I assume is down to adjustment.Does any one have any ideas as to what was actually wrong with this in the first place lol I prefer to see something broken and fix it
