Where Has This Come From

Working on the engine today I came across this what I believe is an air or vacum line by the throttle, injectors (see picture) with a bolt stuck in the end.

Have checked around and cant find where it goes?

 

Any suggestions.

 

doesnt seem to make any differenece if its blocked or unblocked.

Maybe a vacuum supply to cruise control, which may not be fitted to your car. In that case it should be blocked off.
