Hi all,

I have 2 keys for my galaxy 2000 2.3, one is the remote key fob and the other just a transponder key. both keys lock and unlock the car. the remote key locks and unlocks the doors remotely. The transponder key operates the ignition but the remote key won't. I have read a number of topics on programming the remote key but can't find anything on programming the transponder. Ford want

You probably lost the PATS chip when you opened the key to change the batteries - they are prone to fall out.

Programming PATS requires specialist equipment and cannot be done by us mortals.
